Had PICC inserted yesterday ready for chemo. Woke up this morning with blood dripping down my arm and sheets soiled. turned up at hospital unannounced 1000hrs (as I had heart ultrasound at 1045 anyway.) Vascular people said line issue, so they removed it all and started again! As I was running late for cardio, they did it without anaesthetic! Gritted my teeth, then ran all the way to cardio (needless to say the other end of hospital! heart well elevated!
