Hi
Does anyone know the difference between an appointment with a Medical Oncologist or a Clinical Oncologist
Love and hugs xx
Hello Lilac moon, I'm not sure if the situation differs depending on the hospital but I saw the medical oncologist in relation to chemo and the clinical oncologist in relation to radiotherapy. Both discussed hormone therapy with me so there did seem to be a bit of a cross-over between the roles. Hope that helps x
Thank you so much, yes that helps a lot, have first appointment tomorrow, with a Medical Oncologist. I have been waiting for oncotype results regarding chemotherapy. So looks like that may be the course.
How are you? Xx
Thank you, think that’s going to be me too, knew I would be having radiotherapy and tablets, but looks like chemotherapy may be added, really wanted to avoid that but will find out for definite tomorrow
take care xx
