Hello all. I am in remission from TNBC and finished radiotherapy six months ago. After it, I had no side effects at all, absolutely nothing! I have got it into my head that this might mean that the treatment was not effective. I would feel so much better if other people have had this same experience and would be so grateful to hear from you. Thank you

  • Most side effects are sun burn - depends how sensitive your skin is and fatigue but again that can depend on how much you try to push yourself.  Many women sail through.  I found it very manageable even though I had skin on skin burn underneath- the curse of the G cup and fatigue hit me but I've lived since a child on a handful of hours sleep at night .  I'm just a lousy sleeper !  We all have the what iff, worry gremlins. Xx

  • Hi Coffeeholic

I had 24 sessions inc boosts and was well throughout. Only very tiny red area on clavicle which went down quick with no treatment. Hope this helps a bit !

  • Hi

Everyone reacts differently…. I’ve treated  thousands of people with radiotherapy over the last 35 years and can assure you that reactions have nothing to do with effectiveness.

A lot depends on your skin type and the area being treated.

wishing you all the best going forwards x
