Hair has started to fall out, got covid , sinuses are blocked, can't breathe through my nose, sore head, having period altho I was given hormone injection 3 weeks ago, got period cramps.

Life is too hard right now.

  • Bless you! I’ve got covid too and feel sorry for myself too, sometimes it’s all really hard work!! Especially as your hair is going at the same time, I was looking forward to the Easter holidays with my 12 year old and have just had to cancel first lot of plans, big hugs xx

  • Oh no I’m sorry you’re feeling so rubbish , it’s just so much to deal with at times isn’t it Disappointed

sending you a big hug , hope Covid and the cramps ease up quickly

    love

  • So sorry to hear this. I feel bad enough with just my hair starting to fall out and weird sensations in the soles of my feet and toes. Hope you feel better very soon. Jo x

  • Thanks ,

    For support, much appreciated.

Just been sat in bed this morning, paracetamol & hot water bottle.

stayed in bed pretty much yesterday, it's effort to get up and get dressed.

I'm just rather confused as to why I'm even getting a period,.

Last call with oncologist which was last Monday she said your overies should be shut down now, but they can't be I'm having a standard period.Thinking

  • How’s is your Covid? Have you been given any additional support to cope with it? I’m going in today to have IV antibodies x

  • No I didn't get any extra support, just told to phone up acute If I get worse, they have me  booked in for picc line Tue, chemo Wednesday, but they phoning me on Monday to see how I am.

All my blood work is normal , nothing wrong with me except covid on a swab test.

My nasal passages are really conjested, sinus hurt at the moment.

I do find it odd all my blood work is normal Sweat smile, I must be a strange species!

  • Ok thats totally different to my experience here in Bucks. I called the red card line, they were straight on it and I was contacted by the covid team. Here they don’t allow you to continue treatment with Covid until it’s gone, they don’t let you in the hospital if you know you’ve got it! X I’m glad you don’t feel too bad, I feel quite poorly x

  • That sounds like they look after you,

I don't realistically want a picc line put in me & chemo and have to sit their with a mask on when I can't breathe through my nose,

I think it's because my bloods are all normal,

I hope you get better soon

    X

  • Yeah, it’s very, very daunting, I know. I had a good experience with my picc, it went in quite ok and didn’t give me problems so I hope you’re the same. Thanks, I hope we both get better soon! At least you got it before chemo started I guess, trying to look for a silver lining!!! X
