Dreaded this day, can literally pull few strands out, bit by bit. God knows what I'll look like tomorrow. Horrified! Jo
Hi, I lasted a couple of weeks of my hair falling out and eventually shaved it. Then I found the most amazing wig which I loved. Right now I am going through the reverse process. Hope you find a way through this, it can be one of the more emotionally challenging aspects of chemo x
it's not easy even when you know it's coming. I had quite a painful scalp too. I wear comfy head scarves from amazon at home and wig when I go out I splashed out on an expensive one and I don't regret it. lots of compliments . soft sleeping cap at night. I don't mind admitting I avoid mirror when bald tho! don't forget order some wig caps x I'm halfway through 8 cycles and I do have fluff but that's for my eyes only, that's how I cope x
