Hi there

I’ve been told that since my radiotherapy that I’ll always need to wear factor 50 on my breast area, which I do anyway. What I would like to know that if there are any sun creams that don’t have nasty chemicals in them ie parabens, sulfates and phthalates

Thank you

  • Hi Phonzie, I think the Clarins ones are worth considering.   You can check the full list of ingredients on the product page Sun Care Body Cream UVA/UVB 50+ | CLARINS®

  • Hi

I've recently bought "Green People" brand sun cream, organic products (Holland & Barrett also sell these). Since my diagnosis I've also changed to Green People brand of moisturisers and cleansers from their website as H&B don't carry the full range. The Green People website has 25% off sun cream at the moment. I'm intending to buy a rash guard top to wear when swimming for extra protection.

Thank you. Will have a look. I’ve changed everything else but hadn’t thought about Suncream until yesterday when I sat out in the sun!

  • Hi

la Roche posay have a factor 50 sun cream which is good for sensitive skin, although the sun seems to have disappeared from Wiltshire today! X

  • I use Altuest factor 50 on one of my horses as it is non perfumed and I wouldn't be comfortable putting the horrible smelling perfumed stuff near such a sensitive nose! .It is really great, I have no problems putting it on him but it is a bit more expensive. Luckily, not many places I need to use it.
