Mallard,
I am so sorry you have had this news, you must be in bits, I know I was when they told me and I was supposed to e having the mastectomy next week but they have now postponed it as they need to check if the cancer has spread to my lymph nodes in my neck now, its devastating when you just get your head around one bad bit of news for it to change again so I can cometely understand.
It's good to let your emotions out, I find it does help, there isn't anything I can say to make you feel better, but you need to try and keep yourself busy if you can and get as much help around you, I find talking helps me hugely, sending you lots of love x
Oh so so sorry to hear this and how much you are suffering. This is a horrible time for you but try to be optimistic and ask questions of the team. They’re there to support you and under the stress you may have assumed everything is a negative. There are many of us who have had surgery and are back to ‘normal’. I have a friend in Canada who had double mastectomy 15 yrs ago and is still with us, fit and healthy. Don’t assume the worst xxxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
