On Wednesday and can honestly say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, more sore than painful, I have strong painkillers which makes me sleepy and Morphine which helps me sleep at nightI started my exercises today and found them quite easy to do. Seeing oncologist on Tuesday to check drain and make sure no infection. The only disappointment I have is the breast nurse has not been to visit me and check drain is working correctly
I just wanted that reassurance that all was fine.. good luck to everyone on this site who is waiting for surgery or treatment I
all will go well for you all

Pip57. Interesting how different treatments in various areas, are. Had mastectomy and home same day with 2 drains and a pain pump in my side. For 3 days a district nurse came to check all, then removed all 3 items on day 3 and that was that! Went to see surgeon 4 weeks later and now awaiting chemo. No contact with/from anyone until I saw the surgeon again!
