I was dignosed with breast cancer in Aug 2020 had lumpectomy and 5 nodes removed, nodes where all clear.. I have been doing great until maybe November time, I keep getting a sharp shooting pain down the side the nodes where removed, the pain is so sharp and sore that i have to stop what I'm doing.. This past month it has gotten more frequent.. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice. Thank you
Hi I had lumpectomy but only sentinel node removed and clear
i had sharp shooting pain at site of wound and where node was taken. Started about few weeks after surgery which was in august 2021. It has been away now a while and I very occasionally get wee twinge now and then. I also still have some numbness where they did small reconstruction. BCN says all normal as nerves will still be growing back . it’s maybe what you are having but always let your onc or BCN know so they can reassure you xx
