Had surgery last week ,still feel bit shite ,how long does it take you to feel ok after this kind of surgery also had lymph node removed ,, knackered and occasionally dizzy still Tired face results due next Thursday !

  • I had lumpectomy and lymph node removal on both breasts and have to say it was several months before my breasts felt better . Saying that my right breast was well behaved . It was my left breast that caused all the problems .
Just take it easy . This is not a routine operation like, say having a cartilage removed. Just one day , one step of a time . That’s what I’ve learnt on this journey .

    Thank you BlushHeart

  • Hi Birdlady, had same surgery 3 weeks ago and was definitely very tired after 1 week.  Had a gradual improvement since, so its important to pace yourself and not do too much.  Eat well, get plenty of rest, do your exercises and get some fresh air.  Any reason why you are dizzy?  Might be an idea to speak to your BCN or GP about this, especially if you don't normally suffer from dizziness.  Good luck with your results next week.  x

Not sure about dizzyness but I will give my BCN a call if it continues ,,it happens usually if I've been bending down or turn suddenly   ,

    Thank you Blush
