What can you wear to your daughter’s wedding- 3 weeks after mastectomy? I’ve had lumpectomies x2 before- one on each side so I should be prepared for anything - but still I’ve never had to look respectable so quickly after surgery.
Hi lovely to have daughters wedding to plan for Agatha.
I was given a softie prosthetic which I wore in post surgery pocket bra ( even on leaving hospital ) we’re all different but it did feel comfortable .If it’s to be a long day in company You could an a break to go braless for short lie down time
Re clothes I followed advise from BCN and stuck to button thru tops so with reduced arm movement was easy to get on and off . Personally I felt any discrepancy in shape or size ( until I got my silicone prosthetic 6weeks in ) was masked if wearing a pattern .
Whatever you wear be comfortable and wear it with pride of what you have been thru …your daughter will be so proud of you
