Hi i'm 48yrs just had first chemotherapy session 8th march. So this is day 6.
Any one else on their first cycle.
Kka, I'm going to be on FEC T and Docetanzin but worried about joint pain as I have Polymaglia arthritis. How did get on with side effects please x
On day 2. Bad headache, sinus type face pain. Achy legs/knees. No nausea, eating normally. Awake by 3.15 am but not over tired yet. Feeling pretty good, considering. All a bit surreal atm.
Gander
Thanks for reply. Hope I get mild side effects. Good to know it only lasts a couple of days after chemo. Xx
Just had first injection, neighbour did it for me, not too bad. Bit of tummy ache atm
Hi Gander
I'm going to start my injections tonight ,my chemo nurse told me to do at night time with paracetamol as it can be painful
Hope your doing ok with the SE -luckily I'm ok with mine just seasickness feeling yesterday but slept very well last night
Sorry SE was meant for side effects (being lazy in typing)
I think my chemo nurse meant it could cause joint pain later they gave me Filgrastrim injections for 5 days for boosting white blood cells
along with 3 different anti sick pills some for 2 days and 3 days and extra ones if and when needed and steroids for 2 days
