Morning, I thought I’d join this thread as it’s becoming a common occurrence for me. Been awake since 3am and decamped to the sofa. Husband can sleep for England and it makes it all the more annoyin Previously I’ve only had sleep problems when I’ve had stressy jobs. I’m almost 4 weeks post lumpectomy, 3 weeks since surgery no 2 for emergency haematoma evacuation and discovered this week I haveo have further surgery as the margins aren’t clear. So in I go again on April 4th. My boob is still pretty sore and uncomfortable most of the time, it’s itchy and the nipple and surrounding skin is persensitive, my bum and leg are getting sore from having to sleep on my back not helped by a ruptured lower disc some years ago which still gives me gip. I still can’t wear a normal bra and even so crop tops have to come off after a couple of hours. My relationship is feeling a bit strained at the moment too which is bothering me and we’re not the best communicators when there’s issues, mostl because he either doesn’t realise or avoids - I’m not sure which
Anyway, I’ve had my mini moan, tea and toast and now going to attempt some more sleep. I hope everyone is okay and there’s not too many of you awake
Hi. Had first chemo today, not bad at all FEC, so 3 drugs straight after each other. Was only there just over 2 hours. Didn't have chance to read or eat my lunch!! At home feeling bit tired, slightly fuzzy head but really am doing okay. Good lack for Thursday. We CAN do this!!
