I had one such episode post AC chemo. It lasted I think 2-3 days, during which I couldn't get warm no matter what I did -- having a radiator right next to my bed, being covered with a really warm duvet, having a hot water bottle under the covers, having the cat lying right next to me. I never quite figured that one out. Worth mentioning to your team next time you speak to them.
