Hello and sorry you find yourself here. This will give you more info on breast calcifications
6 years ago I had two areas of calcifications, both biopsied and one benign. Click on my name to see my treatment.
Hi Lisajs,
Sorry that you find yourself here but you’ll find every one is lovely and the group will hopefully help with your questions.
im also quite newly diagnosed I went due to having leaky nipple which turns out is Pagets of the nipple I also have extensive calcifications and invasive ductal carcinoma. Still having tests so my treatment is not set in stone but it is looking like chemo then a mastectomy.
The waiting is the worst my advice is keep yourself busy, keep asking questions, research on reputable sites. Also not calcifications are cancerous.
Take care lovely and best wishes

Thanks D X I went due to my right nipple leaking getting worse over time, I've been through the menopause early and my mum's 3 years clear of hormonal breast cancer she had a mastectomy on left breast too, it was just scary as they were testing the biopsies ad hock and on return were saying very high calcium content...I was too scared to ask as I had 2 nurses each with they're hand on my either breast stemming the bleeding ( you'd think having a small boob 32b wouldn't hurt!!) How wrong was I!!!
I've looked online but just wanted a human reply so I appreciate your reply, and time so Thankyou and I hope that your treatment goes well too

Hi Lisa,
Thank you, I’m a b cup too I don’t think it matters the size of your boobs when they are sticking things in you it does blooming hurt.
I will say if it hadn’t been for the leaking nipple I wouldn’t of known anything was wrong as no lump could be found by feeling, it was the mamagram that picked it up.
take care, hope you get your results soon

Hi Lisa. While this site is very good the members who stick around and answer posts are those who've had a breast cancer diagnosis so replies a bit skewed. We do get lots of ladies worried they have an issue and been referred to Breast clinic but after various tests, including biopsies, het the all clear xx
