So it's all come back, after being on pill for 3/4 years.
I felt slightly more normal/ happy on the combined pill.
it was low dose pill , but changed to higher one didn't get on well with it, so changed back to one with less progesterone , low dose estrogen.
Then went on patch which was similar.
I had taken the depo prior before I stopped for about 2 years, had undiagnosed PTSD , but I realized now that that made me feel depressed so which is why I opted for low progesterone.
I've been off combined pill since last November.
suffered my first delusional episode 5 days ago , now I'm on my period.
I can never go on a contraceptive pill ever again due to breast cancer.
I've no idea what hormone makes it worse. I'm being given hormone therapy during my chemo to stop eostrogen,I've no idea how I'm going to react to hormone therapy , I've been reading it could be ovulation triggered it.
It's just darn rubbish really.
Just been given my support nurse for next treatment so I'm guessing I can ask for help .
