Hello, I have Grade3 invasive BC and lump is 4.5cm. I am waiting on CT scan soon hopefully then told 6 sessions of chemo. I'm really scared as getting pain under arm and thinking it's spread. I have Polymyalgia arthritis and hear so many stories about getting joint pains. I've had 12 months of joint pain and cannot bear to go through it again. Has anyone else have polymyaglia and advise. I'm trying to be strong for my family but have moments when I'm so scared and crying.
Hi
The only reassurance j can offer is that mine is grade 3 and has spread to lymph nodes (which have now been removed). The nurse assured me before my CT scan (as I was such a wreck) that it would still be unlikely for it to have spread anywhere else. My CT scan was clear.
Obviously lymph node involvement is sub-optimal, but it doesn’t mean the worst either and is still considered ‘regional’ and early stage.
Best of luck x

Thank you and I'm glad your ok. I probably will be better when chemo starts but at this moment all I want to do is cry x
Hel39 can I ask if you had any pain in your breast as I'm getting a lot of pain xx
No, I didn’t have any pain to be honest. I found my lump just randomly in the shower. X
