Hi Banshee45 welcome to the forum. When you say Macmillan I assume that you mean the Breast Care nurses form Macmillan often based in hospitals? We all need help sometimes and its ok to ask for it when you feel that you need it. Im wondering if you wanted to speak to someone if you might like to give the Macmillan Line a  call on 08088080000.

  • Hi Banshee45,

    1. It must be really hard keeping going for your 9 year old when you probably feel like curling up in a ball and wishing the surgery were over. The side effects from the letrazole can take some getting used to too. Severe fatigue being one of them. Sadly we can't give any practical help but we are here if you need to chat. I found this forum after my radiotherapy was completed but have found such amazing support from people. We all have different experiences but there is always someone who has been through something similar and can offer support and advice.

Also does your local macmillan service offer counselling as this might help. If not, you could ask your gp about self referral. They are pretty quick with appointments usually when breast cancer is involved.
