I had my mastectomy, lft side, in January. Previously i have had 2 ops to remove lymph nodes under the arm. I now find my left arm has nerve damage which means I can't use it properly and three of my fingers tingle all the time. I am waiting for physio but wodner if anyone else had the same and had any tips.
My BCN told me the nerve damage would get better. I’ve only had one op but even after 3 weeks I’ve quite sore and swollen. I find it difficult to chop up vegetables, knit, write or do anything that involves moving the arm a lot. A heart shaped cushion has helped with the discomfort.
