Hi all, me again. I had a mastectomy on the 27th of January; on 7 February I was advised to have Onco type test and it was sent to California that day. I was told 2 weeks for result but nothing yet - how long did any of you wait?
Hi Juned, I’m still waiting for mine after surgery on 18th January. I’m wondering if the “two week” wait is if you are also in the USA, especially as my MDT wouldn’t specify how long it would take, I do know that it will be a week after they get the results before I will know either way, as they will have to discuss it… I have found that the worry and the waiting exhausts you as much as the surgery did.. I hope yr results come back soon x
thank you for your response, I hadn’t thought about it being discussed at MDT meeting. My surgery was on 27 January, test sent 7 February so hopefully by next week I’ll know.
You are right, the waiting is awful, hopefully we’ll both hear soon and with low scores too x
