I would suggest wearing a t shirt if you have a picc line in? Just to make it easier for nurses. I wore comfy clothes, ie leggings and sweat top! Take sucky sweets with you and suck them when chemo going in. My breast nurse advised this. I also brought water in a bottle and sipped it the whole time. Mine only lasted an hour but if you’re longer take book and maybe sandwich …. Hope this helps. X
Good luck, it will be fine, the first is very daunting xx Loose comfy clothing, we have reclining chairs that you can put your feet up where I have chemo, a t shirt and zipped top so if it is colder you can have one arm in and one like a cape. Something to read or do, a drink, although my unit had a water fountain and tea and coffee trolley. That was all I used/needed. I didn’t cold cap though. If you’re cold capping you may want to take a blanket and some cheap conditioner and some headache tablets just in case x
Second the tshirt or something with a sleeve that can be pushed up easily. with a lyer that you can put over your shoulders. I bought a short sleeved roll neck jumper from amazon and had a short sleeve tshirt undeneath. for me the cannula was put into my forearm.
