Hi all
I'm new here on this group looking for a bit of advice
I'm 59ywars old and I have noticed one of my nipples has suddenly become inverted , Not at the time but its also active tingly rather than oainfull
Should I be concerned with this
Kind regards
Isabella
This is definitely something that needs checking out. It could be many things, the milk ducts shorten for example during menopause, but it’s a change to your breast and one that should be looked at, do raise it with your gp and insist on being referred to the breast care pathway. I hope it’s nothing of course but please don’t ignore it, all the best xx
Hi I'm new to the group but had same inverting nipple sign, which I pointed out to radiographer in Dec 2020 but she said I'd probably put on weight in Covid but see a doctor if worried..as I was in breast clinic would've been so easy on that day to have been referred. But I wasn't.
Do not ignore this sign, now one year later my nipple retraction was not weight gain but a return of breast cancer after 21 years. I am beating myself up about not seeing a doctor. I am now facing mastectomy and chemotherapy all over again. Take care go for a check up ASAP.
