Hi everyone
I finally finished chemotherapy just over two weeks ago and I'm going to Center Parcs next week with family including small nephews next week. Really looking forward to swimming as I've missed it a lot, but the boys don't know about my treatment. Despite cold capping my hair is very thin on top and I would prefer to cover it during swimming. I feel like a normal swimming cap would be so tight it would pull on my thin and delicate scraggle of hair! But the fabric ones look like they would slip off. Any recommendations??
many thanks! ️
I’ve stocked up on various head wear from https://www.headscarvesbyciara.co.uk/gym-swim-headband-wigs they do hats with hair and gym/swim wigs. I got a gym/swim wig, they grip round your head with a rubber grip band and then you cover with a headband, they can also be scooped up into a ponytail. They’re not cheap, but they offer VAT relief. The stuff is great quality and worth a try. Best of luck, enjoy your break!
