So last Thursday I had my surgery to remove the cancerous lump and a couple of lymph nodes. It's going to be four weeks before I hear what's next which seems like a lifetime!!! Anyway, I have had very little pain after surgery, I expected a lot more but not even taking pain killers. Is this quite normal??
I had a lumpectomy with lymph node clearance. Discomfort at times but did not need to take any pain medication.
My oncologist phoned me 3 weeks after surgery to let me know the path lab results of what was removed. I had a very positive response to the chemotherapy treatment.
Stay safe & take great care of yourself.
