Hello Everyone
I just wanted to say a belated thank you to all those who offered advice and support to me when I posted about my diagnosis and treatment options. I have tried to pick up that thread but I couldn't find it again, but I am very grateful to those who responded, especially - and I hope I remember correctly - ' 'Debbie'sBear'.
I am now part way through my radiotherapy treatment and oddly I felt more anxious about this than the operation. It's early days yet and I may yet get hit by any of the potential side effects but so far it's not too bad. The radiographers are kind and very reassuring.
Best of luck to everyone, and to their families, going through this situation, nothing prepares you for this but knowing that you are not alone in the emotional storm, is a real comfort.
