My friend is due to start chemotherapy shortly and has been searching for a wig that closely matches her style and colour - blonde , long, wavy with a fringe. Unfortunately she has been unable to find such a wig as they have all been darker than her current blonde hair and also most do not have a fringe. Has anyone been successful in finding such a wig? Can human hair wigs be dyed and a fringe cut into them? We are in the north west/north wales area. Thanks
Yes you can dye real hair wigs and cut them but they are hellishly expensive, especially for very long ones. You can cut synthetic hair wigs into slightly different styles but I believe they are very difficult to dye. I got my wig from here

they can do remote fittings on line, I’d recommend talking to them as they were lovely and might be able to offer you good advice.
Also, just something to think about, lots of us have wigs yet we’ve never worn them despite thinking we would. So nice that you’re trying to help your friend x
That’s so kind of you Anna, thanks so much for replying and that I do. I will pass on to her. She is the loveliest of people
wishing you well
