Changing from Tamoxifen to Letrozole

Morning

I am expecting that when I have blood tests after Christmas I am finally classed as post-menopausal and after 5 years of Tamoxifen will be swapping to Letrozole.
Could anyone who has swapped give any insight as to whether they encountered any issues ? I haven’t had any real side effects from the Tamoxifen , but slightly apprehensive about the change over …

I found it more intense but I'm also on goserelin so it's hard to know what causes what.

Many thanks for your reply - What is the reason you are in Goserlin? We’re you still not post-menopausal?

That's right. For all I know I'm still not but I guess I will be by the time I'm done with goserelin and exemestane.

I was on tamoxifen before a recurrence, so they needed to put me into menopause so I could have one of the aromatase inhibitor.

Hi Jo, how’s it been? I’ve been told to switch too as blood test say I am though the menopause but I’m really nervous about it. Diane
