Hi my name is Rosie, 9 years ago I had stage 3 breast cancer, now it's back as secondary breast cancer which has spread to my lungs and bones. For 3years I complained about pain in my breast and back pain also chest pain. Had checks but nothing was found, until August this year after a chest x-ray, I was then rushed for a CT scan and then to oncology, had a biopsy taken from my lung which discovered I had secondary breast cancer.
Went to see oncologist who has said I can have treatment of hormone therapy letrozole and ribociclib I need some one who is going through this to give me some advice on the fors and against.
I want to be around for my family to see my grandchildren grow up. I am just scared of the possible outcome.
Rosie
Hi Rosie I am sorry to hear your story. I can’t help you but just wanted to let you know there is a secondary breast cancer group on this site which you could join in addition to this group where you will find more people in a similar situation and hopefully you will get the information and support you need. Lots of luck xx

To find other forums, click on "groups" (near the top left of the page) then choose from "cancer types" or "cancer experiences." To find the link I gave you here I went into "cancer types" and then found the forum. To find a forum such as, "breast cancer for the under-50s" I would go into "cancer experiences" and go from there.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
