Anastrozole and burning mouth

Hi, I have been on anastrozole for a week and yesterday I woke up with  burning, sore and tingling lips.  I know it sounds weird and I’ll check with my oncologist when I see her in a few weeks. It may be just a coincidence but if anyone has words of wisdom that would be great.  Thank you

  • Hi , no words of wisdom but if it happens again I would let your doctors know.  Not all side effects are listed on medicines (I'm assuming you have checked and this one isn't) and anything going on around and near your airway would concern me incase it suddenly affects your breathing.  Best to be safe than sorry and let someone know immediately if it is still happening or happens again.
