I don't know what 'smx' stands for so I don't want to make any suggestions about how often you should massage it. However, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet and replying to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.

Hi I had a SMX 6 weeks ago, at 2 weeks i was told i could shower but just let the water run over it and not touch the scar and gently dab dry. I was told not to touch it or put anything on it until it was completely healed - sorry just different advise I suppose? I hope you are healing well
