Have your nails done, it'll make you feel good if nothing else. SHELLAC/GEL absolute no,no. Nail polish will help protect your nails and hopefully you won't lose them. Why not have toes done too??? Be sure to (a) make sure your BN is happy with this and (b) that if you're having done in a salon they are fully aware of you having chemo.
