Had my lumpectomy with SNB last week Tuesday. Minimum pain but the fatigue is really getting to me.
Has anyone had a similar experience with severe fatigue after surgery? I have had so many different surgeries over the years and i think this is the one that is hitting me the hardest in terms of energy levels. Feeling a bit concerned about it, if I'm honest.
Any info would be most helpful

Hi Capazi welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear how tired that you are feeling and some of that could still be the after effects of the Anaesthetic.
The other thing I wanted to ask you is if you lost any sleep in the days prior to surgery as this may be catching up now the surgery is past. Or if you are managing to sleep now as pain can keep you from a good sleep?
It is early days yet after the surgery and you will be amazed how much difference another week makes for you.
Hi Gail. I am not sleeping very well at ail so hopefully it will get better in a week's time. I will discuss it with my Dr on Wednesday as well. The fatigue is just getting to me at the moment as I just don't feel like my usual self at all.
Thank you for the reply I will try to keep that in mind and just rest when I feel too exhausted
