Had my lumpectomy and SNB yesterday. Still a bit tender and i am not feeling quite myself yet. I try to get 7p as much as 8 can and had a walk in the garden today. How much movement is enough to prevent bloodclots etc? How do I know that i qm moving enough?
Hi Capazi, I hope you are feeling ok today. I think you should listen to your body, just a little at a time. A little walk in the garden certainly sounds enough, and you will build your strength up every day.
All the best
I have been feeling very tired today but hopefully tomorrow my energy levels will be better.
Hi
There are also seated 'exercises' that you can do to prevent blood clots...search DVT exercises on youtube and there's quite a few to choose from. But do keep up the walking, it will become easier the more regularly you do it.
