Received a telephone call today from the Hosp, confirming my apt for Monday and they clarified the procedure. I have a consultation with the specialist and full examination. Then depending on his finding, I will have a mammogram and a scan. I have lots of painting to keep me busy for the weekend.
I have listened to your advice and I am taking someone with me to the apt. I will come back to the group on Monday after my apt with an update thank you for your continued support
Hi , only 4 more ‘sleeps’ and you’ll have some answers. Good that the hospital have clarified the procedures, sounds very similar to my experience of the breast clinic. I was told after the mammogram, ultrasound and biopsies that it was probably cancer, and this was confirmed 2 weeks later. Well done for keeping busy, and do keep in mind that most lumps aren’t cancer. I’d had a variety of previous lumps and bumps in various areas - fibroadenoma, polyps and cysts - all benign, before cancer came knocking.
Keep on keeping on and let us know how it goes! Sending love and a big virtual hug your way, HFxx
Hi Gail.
thank you for all your support ️.
Hi
It might be a good idea to ask if you can record the conversation on your phone so you have a point of reference. Your nearly there now so take a deep breath and you'll be fine . Can someone go with you who is willing to wait outside for you so you can go straight for cuppa .
At the hospital now on my own. & breath. I can do this
