Hi have my results meeting on Wednesday after a lumpectomy..feeling really anxious. Another lady I made friends with has been given her results in the phone so I'm feeling even more anxious that I have been asked to go in.
it may be that they want to discuss something with you, I know being called in is scary, but it may well be just a discussion on their best ways to help, going forward. It will also be a time you can put questions to them yourself, so do jot down any you have and make sure they are answered in a way you understand.
I know, I was waiting on mine but actually got them a few days earlier than I was anticipating, I was in for a check and removal of one of the 2 drains. The big boss came in and said ‘I’ve got your results’ and my mouth totally dried up! It is hard but you’ll cope, you’ve got through so far.....it might help if you fill in a bit of info on your profile, it helps others to try and help you if they don’t have to search your posts. Easy to do, click on your user name, and find where it says ‘edit my profile’ when you’ve done, click ‘save’. Mine is long now as I’ve had (and having!) a long time with cancer in the family!
