Hi I'm newly diagnosed with grade 2 ductal carcinoma

I've only had the 2 operations and the Tamoxifen. Luckily no radiation required as masectomy was successful. Lymph nodes were also clear on removal. Hopefully you get your plan soon x

Core biopsy by the nipple and a stereotactic biopsy on the upper left section. 
steriotactic is done under mammographic conditions.

Yes, they were scanned and looked healthy but they took the sentinal ones out as a precaution. A scan can only show so much. They send the lymph nodes they take out away to be tested as these can sometimes show microscoptic cells. Mine were clear - thank goodness

I had pain in my breast, they couldn't find anything on the mammogram. Everyone was saying I just had inflamed tissue and not to worry. I had the biopsy and the results 'surprised' everyone 

They cannot feel a lump with me either, mine showed faintly on a mammogram, and had a vacuum biopsy to confirm, presumed they used that because is a small area, not sure. Did they size yours at all

my mammogram didn’t show anything and my go thought it was eczema!!

Anyway I am in the system ! It took one week from seeing the consultant and MRI.  

Dont worry about that. You will lie on a table with 3 holes   It is noisy but I sang in my head. I was wonderful and the audience couldn’t get enough of me ... they all threw flowers!!

worst thing was pins and needles in my hand. I put it out of my mind. 35 mins was over quickly!
