Sorry that you have to find yourself here, following your diagnosis.

Yes, you're right that it can be done this way for certain types of breast cancer.  My type for instance (oestrogen positive) doesn't always need chemo and therefore straight in with an op and radiotherapy.  However, it might be very good news for you because I have seen posts in the past from other ladies that have mentioned that after their chemo, the surgeons couldn't even find the tumor and just the clip put into the breast is what was showing as left of it!!!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last week and will see onco next week hopefully. I have to do chemo first and then surgery. I am 44 and have always been healthy. It is a shock but we can go through this. Xx
