Hi, I suffer with Lymphodema in the breast and arm, will it be ok to have the covid vaccination and should I inform the medical person who books the appointment ?
thank you
I have lymphodema in my right arm, chest and back, and I’m certainly going to have the vaccine. The only mention I’ll make of it is when they ask which arm to inject in. I don’t know of any reason why lymphodema should stop you having the vaccine, as long as you don’t have it in the lymphodema arm. If you are really worried give your BCN a call and ask her.
Hi , I have lymphoedema in my breast but had several vaccinations to go to Bali the year after my op. I just made sure they were all given in the other arm. I will definitely accept the vaccine when offered (I’m 61). But good to mention it to them anyway, just in case. HFxx
