Hi there, I just turned 30 in October, I have been breastfeeding my daughter for the last 21 months and have very recently been diagnosed with TNBC, Waiting to see the oncologist on wed for treatment plan. Also Waiting to get biopsy results from a lymph node and terrified it’s spread.
I need to stop breastfeeding my daughter before I start chemo. My GP has prescribed Cabergoline which will dry up my milk supply. Does anyone have any experience of using this? I don’t want it to dry up overnight as this will be extremely distressing for both of us. I’d rather it gradually dry up but no idea what dosage will allow this.
thank you
Thanks Anna, wishing you well for your surgery x
