Awake

Sadly yes this last week has been a no sleep week

Hi, it’s 3.40 and I’m very awake, itching and sweating, fresh night cloths required, is this just me or is it a Piclataxel side effect

I hope you're sleeping now. Sorry I didn't spot your message earlier. I have unexpected visitors and was doing some early morning jobs but yes.....I think your temperature reaction is quite normal. Just monitor it and don't let it go too high. I expect your hospital has given you a temp at which to contact them. But I can remember having very high temps with both chemo combinations, getting very close to the contact point then starting to cool down. None of this is pleasant but the weeks do pass and this treatment is very sucessful nowadays. My own treatment was in 2015/16 and I've been cancer clear since then.

Sleep and rest are a great healer so do try to get plenty if you can......

I had a folfox treatment I get very warm and itchy, mostly at night, it keeps me awake. I finished chemo in May and still have most of the side effects

Am so glad you can get on this site again.

However,today I can’t “like”posts...and I keep going “off the site”where they are “attempting to reconnect”.I didn’t touch anything,Honest!!

I spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to get on to Walking Back to Happiness thread,but it Kept taking me backwards.

So,we struggle on.

I do hope all that need us are able to surmount the difficulties.If not please email admin...it is a very needed site.

It is serious when vulnerable people can’t get the help they desperately need.
