I was diagnosed a week ago and as expected I’ve experienced a range of emotions this week. Just as I start to feel positive I receive a letter through the post which up skittles me. Anyway when I received my diagnosis I was told I’d need an mri as there are two calcium deposits on my other breast but the lymph nodes seem clear. My mri is on Sunday.
During the week I received a copy of my diagnosis That was sent to my doctor. I requested this but reading that I had vascular invasion present upset me. I spoke to my breast cancer nurse and she said not to worry as I’m having an mri and due to start chemotherapy on the 12th Oct. I then recieved my oncology plan which stated my stage as T2 N0 ? I know I should ring my nurse up but I’m worried why there’s a question mark for metastatic status. Is this normal? I can’t stop thinking about it. Any reassurance from anyone who’s experienced similar would be greatly appreciated

just a bit of reassurance, the N0 also means no spread to lymph nodes. So, it might be that they think that it hasn't spread, but until they have biopsies done after operations, then they can't 100% say that it's not spread to your lymph nodes.
I hope this helps to reassure you,
Best wishes, Lesley
