Hi, I had a borderline phyllodes tumour removed on 31/7. Clear margins except one, no immediate re-excision with re-examination in 6 months. More than happy with that. Due to it's rarity there is very little anecdotal info.
I had no pre or post operative advice other than when to have the dressing removed! I'm doing fine and returning to work on 02/9.
If I can be of help to anyone diagnosed in the future I would be more than happy to do so. It was quite a journey along the way but I got there x
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
That's great that you want to help others who have been diagnosed with a phyllodes tumour. If you type 'phyllodes tumour' into the search bar in this group, you'll be able to see if there are any recent posts which mention this where you may be able to help.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
