It is nearly 3 years since I had breast cancer which resulting in me having a mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction. There were a few hiccups straight after surgery, took me 4 months to heal, but in the end with my clothes on things look okay.

However, I can't seem to wear a bra for any amount of time due to the wire or the side seam sitting on my internal scares and causing pain which quickly becomes unbearable. I am now with a different breast care team as I moved areas and I have spoken to them about it, but the reply tends to be a sort of shrug of shoulders and nothing useful. Wired bras are too painful and non-wired bras not supportive enough and I end up with pain all the way over my shoulder and across my chest.

Right now I am living in a pull-on bra from Sainsbury's. It works, I am not in pain with it, but I would like to find something more girlie - it not even about being sexy, there's no one here to be sexy for.

Yes, i am grateful to be well, but i was wondering what other people may have tried. I wear a 38HH cup. Any ideas.
