Good Morning
I just joined the forum today and I'm not sure why I didnt do it earlier! It certainly does help to read that other people are going through the same things.
I am on a course of EC chemo and had my second round last week. The first time was ok, apart from horrible bone pains on day 6 and 7 of the filastgrim injections.
This time around I'm experiencing some strange effects, but they do seem to start after I start the injections on day 3.
The main one is a very fast heart rate. And today after the 7th injection, I have the bone pain along with a kind of 'woozy' head, like a pressure build up especially when I first lie down. Has anyone else experienced this? It's hard to explain, a bit like I'm being squeezed....
Sorry if it sounds a bit vague
Hi
I've finished 4 rounds of EC and just finished my 3 of 4 pac.
We all suffer different side effects but I can say that my side effects to the Injections sounds similar to yours. I like how you say it feels like you're being squeezed! The day after my last injection I get a pulsating feeling down the front of me. My ocologist tells me this is normal and means it's working. I dont get a woozy though.
I hope that helps a bit.
Take care

Hi
I read your post with interest as I have has 2 EC chemo sessions and was only prescribed 5 days of filastgrim injections on each session. Fortunately didnt really have any noticable side effects. Its Interesting that we are prescribed different lengths of time for our meds. Probably due it being tailor made for each individual.
You have found a wonderful site here, full of advice and help with lots of lovely ladies who will always respond to your questions.
Take care

Hi Linda
Yes the meds do seem to vary, I must ask why when I go to the hospital next.
Thank you for your reply and I agree this site is lovely and supportive.
