Hello all,
The bad news came this morning, I've been tested positive to the nasty COVID 19.
I had my first injection last month and unfortunately spent a few days in the hospital from Sunday to yesterday due to neutropenic sepsis.
The bad news kept coming...
Saying to myself : what next?
Life can be so hard for some!!!
Not a very positive post, I apologise.
Take care all!
Sandra xx
Sandra......I'm so sorry you are having this difficult time. At least the sepsis has been monitored and I assume halted. You must look after yourself now with the Covid19. You seem to suggest you are no longer in hospital so I hope there is someone to help you at home. Listening to the discussions on tv, you now need to rest carefully. Don't try to do too much .........sleep if you can.....drink plenty of fluids to keep your temperature down and yourself hydrated. Thinking of you and wishing you well.
Hello Sonjha,
We can tell from your post that you are feeling down - well, who would blame you, you have a lot going on at the moment.
Please remember 'You will get though this' - your body has a lot of healing and repairing to do. Follow all that Lacomtekp has said... most of all be kind on yourself and rest, rest, rest, - deep breathing, plenty of fluids and rest.
My cousin has had Covid 19 and has been in and out of hospital 3 times - it seems like this can be the normal for many, start to feel better - do to much and symptoms start off all over again.
Please remember 'these time won't last, you won't always feel like this, you will slowly start to feel better.... you will' and remember...
We are all here for you - sending you love and Get Well Soon Wishes xxxx
Good morning!
Thank you both, lacomtekp and WhatHappened, for your kind messages and advices.
I feel better today.
I had a call from the oncologist and my second chemo session will be delayed as soon as I am no COVID negative.
The second dosage will also be reduced due to so many side effects and my weight loss.
I will be fine and I am still positive.
Thank you again, you have been fabulous ladies.
Take care xxx
Sandra
