Hi I’ve completed 4cycles of EC about to start PAC next week

EC was 3 weekly-bad wk1, tired w2, near to normal w3PAC is 2 weekly. Just wondering how people were on this and if you feel enough after 2wks to start again.also in your experiences when should I expect to start radiotherapy? Is it straight away or do you have a interval.

good news is my genetic test came back with not detected a gene alteration.

shielded with my household for 10wks but husband returning to work and granddaughter visiting her father, both from june1 so I’m a tad anxious, any advise

  • HI

I'm sorry I'm not able to help with your query as I didn't have chemo, but by replying to your post I am bumping it back to the first page in the hope that someone else will be able to assist.

Great news that you haven't tested positive for the gene Slight smile

My colleague who I work with one day a week (other than her in one day, I work alone), works the rest of the week in a supermarket.  Her husband is vulnerable (not officially had a letter, but vulnerable all the same) and he mixes up a bowl of water and bleach for her to dip the soles of her shoes in on returning home at the front doormat.  She then uses disinfectant wipes for the rest of her shoes.   She uses hand sanitiser as soon as she leaves work and washes her hands as soon as she has carried out the shoe 'dip'.  Her uniform is taken off after this and washed daily - luckily the lovely weather means she doesn't need to wear a coat so she doesn't need to think about that... It is quite a lot to do, but so far, so good for her and her husband.  Hope this helps.

    Kindest wishes,
