Hi
Make sure you drink plenty of water the first 3 days after chemo - 2ltrs , after that at least 1ltr , it’s hard but it does help.
I found pineapple in any form was good , Tomato soup always tasted ok , baked beans with sausages was ok too. We bought inexpensive ready meals from freezer shop , if it tasted awful , it was binned and I started again . You may like something one month and the next it was awful . Once I fancied chicken and sweetcorn soup , followed by banana fritters and syrup from the local Chinese - it was wonderful and my lovely husband bought it every night for a week !!
it is honestly trial and error - ooo and the delight when something tasted great is out of this world .
it’s hard but it doesn’t last for ever , sometime only The middle week of chemo . When chemo ends , taste buds get back to normal quickly .
your doing great
take care of yourself

It definitely is trail and error with food but I would suggest anything very sweet, very sour or very spicy
try anything and everything like other post said ( sorry I can’t remember your name ) taste buds change from day to day and unfortunately the taste buds don’t come back very quickly either I still don’t like vinegary things ( although pickled onions are delicious )but liked them before chemo I’ve gone of sugar or sweetener in my coffee ( I had 3 sweeteners before) and loads of other things don’t taste right anymore chocolate being one of them
but there are a few things I like now I didn’t like before weird!! Eggs and bananas used to detest them I’m fine with them now
it’s been 6 weeks since my last chemo just wondering how long it’ll take for everything to get back to normal
but keep trying to drink plenty and try different really flavoursome foods xxx
