Hi i had a mastectomy on 9 April including removing 11 Lymph nodes. I’ve had my first chemo today.
I have a seroma which is very slowly going down but this
afternoon I’ve noticed my arm is swollen. It’s not painful
or red just bigger than my good arm?
Should I bring this to the oncology teams or breast nurses
attention?
Thanks for any advice
x
Hello Yes definitely talk to the nurse or to the oncologist.I developed lymphoedema this year in my arm and my surgery was 2,5 years ago.Dont let it to get it worse.
I was waiting for the lymphoedema clinic since January then they cancelled it in March because of the virus and since then I am suffering I dont understand why they couldnt refer me to another hospital.
Anyway I made my own compression stocking on my arm because seems even my nurse cant be bothered to help me but I hope you will get it sorted.
Take care
