Hello everyone, I am currently on my 2nd dose of Accofil injections (out of 8 for this chemo cycle). Has anyone experienced a fever using them? Was told by chemo nurse that it can be a side effect and to take paracetamol which I did (fever of 37.7) but my anxious mind is wondering if it could be something else. Thank you.
Hi
I've noticed your post has gone unanswered and I can't answer your question as I didn't need chemo as I am on oestrogen reducing tablets. However, I guess by now - 4 days later, you may have your answer!
I am sincerely hoping that it is the side effect that you were warned might happen due to the Accofil injections and not COVID (as I expect that's what you were concerned about).
It's going to be a natural fear for everyone if they feel 'a bit hot' but much, much more for you with an actual fever undergoing chemo and I do feel for you.
Do post and let us know how you are doing now.
Kindest wishes,
