Hi, I am concerned about something that is happening, hopefully, it may relate to one of the people in this group, I finished my Radiotherapy in Jan 2020, then 3 weeks ago a lump appeared in my forearm, then 2 more in the top of my arm, I saw my GP who told me he will hurry my scan along, and wrote to my oncologist, I now have 7 lumps that feel like lymph nodes, I had 32 lymph nodes removed last July along with a lumpectomy, but after a while 2 more lymph nodes under my armpit, which did not go down they got bigger, I know you have lymph nodes in your arm, but, can anyone relate to what I am going through? I don't know what to do.

  • Hi Jax66 welcome to the forum.

I think that your GP is doing the right thing in hurrying the scan on and getting in touch with your Oncologist.

I haven't heard of this before but that doesn't mean that it is anything to worry about and I feel sure that some of the folks on here will be along soon to maybe add any ideas or thoughts on this for you.

Sorry not to have been of more help at this time but hope to get some answers soon. xxxxx

Hi Granny59, everything has turned around very quickly, I rang my GP to tell him of the new lumps that had appeared, I had 2 phone calls, one from my surgeon, one from my oncologist, My surgeon took a biopsy that very day, Then the next day had to have a scan, one problem with that is, they scanned my chest abdomen pelvis, but not my arm? My surgeon told me they were all the same, some bigger and deeper than others, so hopefully I will have a result soon.
